Ben stayed over last night and we were up early to work on his diff axle, replaced one with another then pushed out the windscreens on both vans, getting ben's replacement windscreen in and Warren popped over, the three of us managed to get Bens windscreen in before he had to dash off, had a look and a bit of a chat about the efi 6 with Warren before had to shoot off, that left me with the the rest of the day to replace my windscreen with a new rubber I've had lying around for a few years, cleaned up the glass channel and found no rust! sprayed a couple of coats of fish oil then a coupla coats of quick dry enamel on the channel while I could get at it, then in the arvo put the new rubber on the windscreen and fitted the windscreen, took a coupla hours as I used more sealant that I should have but managed to get it lined up neatly and back on, took an hour or so to clean up the sealant off the glass, so another job out of the way, new rubber came up as a very neat finish so had pizza and a beer for tea, now off to the shower and attack that couch! thanks guys  ;)

Been working during the weekdays, doing uni at night. On the weekend i removed the subframe and all wiring, brake lines, etc from under my beddy and started hitting it with a wire brush and wheel to get rid of all the crap under there.
The more i work on it the more i want to work on it now. Even if all i am doing at the moment is grinding and sanding...

Been working a bit more and doing something I love at work at the moment (nice hippy job)  Planting trees.  Replanted the first 11 I put in 3 times.  First 2 plants were out 20mm 2nd time realised he's given wrong measurements 3rd time a charm.  The pencil Pines he put around the pool are a stupid idea, they look good but have fun cleaning your pool all the time.
Appart from that sending resumes west to try and get back over there and earn the big bucks to make this bedford move.

Hey stevo;) got it from a bearing place over here. It is a borg centre. So i guess the bedford one would be quite a bit harder to find. Cheers

This week I stripped and dumped the ozzie jumbo van (was rotten), towed my standard van to where I stripped it, removed ld28 and front beam ... replaced with holden mtr and beam then replaced the wishbones (as I had already done the balljoints etc), well that was on saturday, then I had the bright idea of swapping the dash boards.
My standard CF is 70's and this jumbo was 81 facelift with the swing parcel tray ...

I drilled out the spots on both and cleaned up, and I found more rust in my van, grrr. The top of the hinge pillars had gone on both sides, couldn't see it before. real easy to do without the dash.

There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"
