Heya ill be after some mural work also......Im in Melbourne, nothing too extreme, just some basic stuff, at moment. Although id be interested in someone who can do flame work (not traditional but more like the sun, like a burning ball)? also what are the steps, do i get it painted first, or does the artist need to hang with the body painter?

the flames you want are called 'real flames' and you can get it painted first but best if it`s done in c.o.b. or clear over base , as the best efect for murals is to clear over them . it really brings out the colours and helps protect them . bewarned murals can be expensive especialy if done by tattooist at the same rate as tattoos $100 an hour . ask the auto shops there`s probably a painter that can do it too and they can be better at larger stuff plus they know thier paint so you wont have probs with it flaking off.

here`s a pt cruiser i did

Strez: So say i get it painted (finished and all) then the airbrush guy can come and paint, and id need to get another clear over that yeah?

Where can i find a picture of "real flames" see im not after "flames" as such, just that firey look, and contast.

Real Fire is the term I think its called. If you've seen Overhaulin or Rides a guy call Mike Lavalle is the man.

thats them spanners and kirk yes would be best to get it recleared . airbrushing doesn`t have to be over fresh paint can be over old stuff but best if over paint in good condition no mater how old.
