FOR SALE
« on: May 09, 2014, 08:26:03 AM »
I dont really want to talk about it, but the beddy is up for sale, change in circumstances forces sale. Must be gone in 8 weeks. I could finish it up & sell it, but taking into consideration the shed rent, it is more financially viable to walk away.
This is a solid old girl, nice floors, the usual rear lower quarters are gone and were quickly repaired to keep her on the road, leave it or use a replacement panel
buckets of dough where you wont see it,
new wiring kit 90% fitted, kill switches, full variable elec water pump kit for lpg, all gauges except for speedo, new hotrod indicator/flasher combo switch, new wiper switch, h4 headlights, led taillights & led front indicator/flasher combo
there is a dual glass sunroof fitted, hurst shifter, cragar ss rims & new tyres.........on and on.........
underneath, i fitted a chev 10 bolt diff & late model shaft to suit, up front is a disc brake setup, calipers will need a kit thru
the windscreen is removed, i have 2 good screens here, heaps of spares as well, take the lot for $2000, in the next 4 weeks, after that unfortunately will start removing the new items & sell them off......pickup is bundall gold coast
Hammer...check, shifter...check, electrical tape...check, now wheres my #%$@ wallet!??

Worth every cent. Someone is about to grab a real bargain. Pity you won't get to enjoy the finished product Rotti.

Hi Rotti,
It's a shame you havent got to finish this as yet.
I'm based on the northside of Brisbane and was curious what motor and gearbox is currently installed ?
And what style the rear door/s are?

I'm keen, but have a project WB 1 Tonner in the garage and will need to convince the wife to allow me to use the other bay for this.
Regards,
John

Hey John, love this thing, was going to be my last old school car, but if only i had taken up crystal ball reading........
She has a 186, 173 head, trimatic. full water pump delete, converted to variable electric pump(s), v8 radiator, thermo, so bullet proof for our warmer weather.
v8 engine cover urethaned to the floor, modified panel to access gas hat etc.
rear doors are from a 1978 model, have deleted glass & cut up bens window panels & replaced where the glass was, looks awesome!
Im doing it for 2k because i would love to see it go to someone to finish it, would hate to part out!
Cheers!

Good decision Rotti. You couldn't replace it for the money that you were asking. All the best.
