When I built a shed at my old house I bought cement/driveway paint and just rolled it on to the new floor. from memory the paint was under $200 for 4 gallon drum, coverd 72 sqr meters with at least 2 coats and still had a 1/4 of it left.

for older floors I think if you thourghly degrease it you should be fine.

Your floor looks pretty new so should clean up easily, one good thing about painted floors is they stop a lot of dust.

Hey Shane, when you say the car was storm damaged was that just hail or was it in a flood? Got any pics of it?

Cheers for the pics Shane    Geez...Mate that ute looks to be in bloody good nick still.  Was it a rightoff? or is there damage underneath that we cant see?   Awsome donor car buddy

You guys have me thinking now.

I might get a small tin of that stuff and test it on some concrete that we'll be pulling up soon. Just in case I mess it up 

The shed floor has a few small spills here and there from other people that have been working here  So a light acid wash might be required.

Not looking forward to moving all the stuff I have out of the shed though

Hey mate,

It was in very good condition with just light hail damage on the bonnet and roof. It was classed a a repairable write off so I could have easily registered it again. In fact I had to think long and hard about it but in the end I bought it for the engine so thats that. Plus I have an AUIII Fairmont Ghia V8 to play with
The ute looks like its had new leads fitted recently and the sticker on the windscreen shows it was serviced a month or so before I bought it so it appears to have been looked after.

Its got 222k on it so almost run in

Whats the auto electrician doing? Did you end up getting all your gauges sorted? I was just online looking for gauges for mine but I'm struggling to find all the gauges I want in one brand

I used vdo gauges , the van now has an intergrated aircon system in it and being rewired shane
