yep, and the question is ...where/who has the dies for the beddie, would they still exist?

I don't know, ... but it's very probable they were destroyed / recycled.

That's right, Luton wasn't the only factory... they were also made in Portugal. Don't know what happened to those dies also..

Some one with money could make new body dies if the CF ever gained the popularity of say the VW bus for example..

Some new posts:

http://www.bedfordcf2van.blogspot.com.au/2013/08/world-van-dies-july-1986.html

Wouldn't you love to get your hands on the dropkicks at GM who thought that dropping the CF was a good idea.

GM certainly has a long history of shooting itself in the foot.

They weren't going to drop it, they had plans for a successor but by 86 sales had dropped and the company folded the following year..

Of course this all went downhill due to GM's bad decisions ...

Im "investigating" this subject but there is just so little information online. This article already gives us a lot of interesting information.

I heard a rumour years ago the dies were put in a train carriage somewhere and lost. not sure if lost meant destoryed
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"
