LOL yep Murphys law... we got seat belts out of a kia carnival for our beddy..nice and long.
you can get wheels nuts any wreckers and we recycled a plastic bottle for over flow...and ray is slowly replacing old fuses with in line fuses as the old beddy ones just dont cut it..... sun visors ..im sure some one may have some for you as well as an old fuse box if you want to keep it orginal

Thanks for the offers but the parts aren't beddy (anymore).
The worst part about it all is I can't remember what the parts were from, think the visors were from a subaru or something (they were an exact size for my reversing camera screen), wheel nuts were mag wheel nuts - easy to get but a pain. Fuse box was from a Toyota or Mazda or maybe even commodore, washer bottle I think was from a light truck (fitted nicely in the inner guard).

Oh well

On a brighter note I am working on the van, finished the outside of the bonnet yesterday and hopefully do the inside over next couple of days, then onto the hinges. Smooth out the bonnet and screen area and that will be the end of all the body work. Then dash, engine cover and a few bits and pieces then hopefully certified.
Not all on this trip though, just aiming for the bonnet done this time

Ah Busykiwi, here is rule #2 every single nut and bolt i have ever bought for the beddy has gone into a build diary. I can tell you the date and price of seat box bolts going back to the 90s when i first bought my van. I can tell you every part and what car its from. The diary is a must if you are building a custom van with bits from different cars.
Dont forget to post us pics of the the work, i am looking forward to seeing  the end result busy, yours is going to be an awesome van.

George, I did start doing that but have changed so many things so often I dropped the idea

Sad thing is this isn't my first time I've done this lol something about old dogs, new tricks ... or is it memory loss? can't remember

Have been working on the inside of the bonnet today, not sure how long I'm up this time but will be up again after Easter so hopefully get it all done. It's all so close.
