far out, the robbing bastards.
Australia was once the lucky country.
now it seems its more like the going down the drain hole country!!
they seem to take advantage of the festering season.
i long for the day the so called leaders work for the people and not
power and money
will there ever be a day?

forget it mty, pull your head out of the clouds buddy, these greedy b****ds dont care about you and me. Mate look at the power companies energex, for 30+ yrs we were paying our bills and they were working on the line and so on, if there was an increase it was so small that you had to look for it. Now they are wacking us 14% every year and doing no more now then they were 30 yrs ago. Its all greed, and when you look at all the new suburbs popping up, thats more money from every new customer, so they are not loosing money, if anything they could drop the price by a couple of percent and still be in the black. Maybe the CEOs should go from 30 million dollar pay packs each year to 5 and maybe they would have more money to put back into upgrades.
I spoke to their CEO on the radio one day, and they were saying the bulk of cost was storms bringing down lines and cars hitting poles and so on. I said to this clown that if they spent our money wisely and started to put all the power underground they would eliminate all that cost. The genious came back and said we cant because when you go underground you then risk water damage, clever dick, all new suburbs here in qld have the power underground, so why dont they get blacked out in a storm, his response, i cant comment, its hard to comment on bulls**t. say no more.

One day we'll have to dump the fuel & lpg & convert our beddies to electric.....I remember watching "gadgets electric garage" on discovery a while back, they built an electric Camaro for red hot chilli peppers front man Anthoney keidis, the thing was hot, (and no oil leaks......) ;)
