my new project
« on: December 17, 2008, 08:18:41 PM »
hi guys i just picked this old girl up for a bargain price its running a warm 308 dedicated gas research system with twin gas tanks, mechanically its a1 body wise it has a fibreglass roof and rust in the usual places but nothing a few items from bunga wont fix.I will be posting some pics of the inside before i commence to restore her to the condition she deserves.I had one of these old girls a few years ago with a 327chev in it and had to get rid of her due to cicumstances beyond my control lol and i can honestly say that once you have beddies in your blood it stays there.any how suggestions advice or general comments are welcome cheers

i will be watching closely! nice beddy! plenty of pics please.

im on my first but i wanted one since i was young.

i know what you mean by "once you have beddies in your blood" as i keep finding my self just staring at mine. i have only had it for a few days and i already know im trapped and no other car will ever do.

i glad a few people are starting at the same time!

the full roof skin sounds like a good idea mate i wouldnt mind seeing some concept drawings of one if you have put your idea on paper.as far as the overhead console goes i reckon this old girl wont see the road before feb so let me know when you are caught up with your other projects and we will have a chat,if you are up my way drop in for a beer or coffee regards brendon.
