An amazing woman brings me down, we hope to get a life style block in a couple of years (with min 4 car garage or barn) so will resume building more vans then, at the moment we have no where to put them. Small price to pay for a great future though.
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

Fantastic busy, all the best for the move and your lady love :) definitely a bit slower paced than the big smoke, though its certainly growing.. not that I'm a real estate expert or anything, but you'll find the best value for blocks is west of the city towards whatawhata, plus you get a good view of mt pirongia..  though that custom van of yours is about the best view around anywhere you go haha

Hey Eric, welcome back to the vanning lifestyle and the Bedford family. Great to see that van going to a good home. With more vanners setting up in the Hamilton area I feel the possibility of a new club coming on. Be good to have a few more Waikato members around. Take care and enjoy the new ride.

Cheers,
Garry.

thanks garry, yes it has been too long without one, hopefully I'll hold on to this one for a while! Still a little more work to do before terrorizing the streets, nothing particularly wrong with it but I'm pretty keen to get discs on the front and a coat of paint (nothing fancy) first.. I remember even 10 years ago cfs were not an unusual sight.. where have they all gone!

Hey Eric, I've got an HQ front end disk conversion that I no longer need that will probably get listed on TradeMe in the next few months. With it I've got a set of Bedford rear axles and drums from a standard Bedford 10 inch diff that have been changed to HQ stud pattern. This will allow you to convert to HQ stud pattern mags all round. Happy to give you first option before I list them. Let me know if you are interested. Cheers Gordon

All good Eric. I'd rather that they went to a fellow enthusiast. I need to get my lower A arms modified to take my dropped spindles before I can pull out the HQ disk conversion. Shouldn't be too long now. I'll let you know. Do you know whether your existing rear axle is running 10 inch or 9 inch drums ? Cheers Gordon

Hi Eric, from memory, the easiest way to tell is to climb under the van and check how many bolts hold the drum backing plates onto the axle. If it has 6 bolts then its a 10 inch setup. If it has 4 bolts then its a 9 inch setup. Hope this helps. Cheers Gordon
