Intro you say.... well then here's mine............ names ben i'm 26 and live in perth, only became a member of the site recently however i must confess i stalked your site (old site and new site) as a guest for quite some time ;). I'm a chef (i don't recomend it the hours are far too antisocial) and as for my bedford addiction it all began in london. I lived there for five years with my now fiance, who despite her denial is almost as much in love with beddies as i ;D. We owned a 1984 cf2 camper for our last year there and lived in her for almost four months as we drove around europe.although she had her problems along the way  ???(radiator, brake pads, exhaust, starter motor etc..etc... i'm sure we've all been there) i can honestly say i've never owned a car   eh  hum  van like her. and i want one. i even considered shipping her back at one point. so now i'm on the hunt for for a beddy and the plan is to spend sum time fixing her up and decking her out for a "van tour" of oz. until we find the one i guess i'll just keep dreaming and searching

a big g'day to all and nice job with the site

Hi all out there,I was starting think I was a dieing breed!  I'm a new member,I found you looking for someone who knows something about 4wd beddys.. Anyway i'm 42 wanted a Beddy from 14,at 17 first car HG panalvan, great car but to small swapped it for dads combi, bigger but motors just can't hack it $$$$. Combi t-bard onto roof and written off, thank you up there. Insurance was enough to get Beddy SWB camper, 20 years later re-newd and converted nearly every part nut and bolt. I've always welded up any rust(and there has been a lot of it) and It's never broken down and left me stranded(only once when treating it like a 4wd as usual, cut fuel line). Everyone says it's time to go modern, so I remind them of how much they spend on fixing a car they can't work on them selves. I'm a bit of a gypsy surfer, snowboarder, live out of Beddy upto six months of year and slept seasons in the snow down to -18 below brrrr. I love my Beddy but want a 4wd, so it looks like I'm gonna have to convert it to 4wd( oh my god what am I in for).  Love this new site and like minded Beddy lovers. So glad to hear your out there. Dan
