I do too so I have 2 of them. Rectangular one in the front and a small square one in the back.

If you want to see what you can do with a later shape look at mine!!

Hi Jeff

The suspension was conventional with custom made leaf springs at the back and custom made coils at the front. The front and rear shocks were then replaced with units of a suitable length. The work was done by a mate of mine who owned a muffler and tyre place in conjunction with a spring manufacturer who had his workshop right next door. We started with the springs and once we had the ride height perfect it was then a case of matching up the shocks. It took about two weeks to complete with my mate doing the work in between his bread and butter jobs. The front ended up a bit soft for my liking, but the ride was way improved. I will happily put some more pics up on the gallery. I wish I could have brought the van across with us when we immigrated.

There is hardly nothing available and suffer from the dreaded rust.

hey guys love the site have ben a long time lover of the mighty beddy and am 90% on my way to owning my first one!!! its a 1976 SWB that has had a fair bit done to it probably and 80% done rebuild but he has decided to let it go to have some fun in europe and i have jumped at the chance getting it for a fair to great price and am very excited will post pics as soon as it is in the driveway!!!very helpful site has been very informative to me in making sure i am getting the right car at the right price....looking forward to hounding you all for tips soon to get this bad boy on the road!!!!!!!!!
