I'm Jeff. I'm 62. I'm a flooring contractor, Live in Wellington NZ. I'm a moderator on CF-UK.
Been into fast cars since my teens;  slowed down a bit over the last few years, but still managed to loose my license  by exceeding the speed limit by more than 50 k.
So thought I would drive something that was fun without going fast.....Hence the Beddie.
I set about restoring and modifying her, and the project got waaaaay out of hand. I mostly blame this site for that. Thanks guys!
I had a CF back in the 80s which I put a Valient slant six into...Nice, but the van was rough.... been driving Jappers since then.
I am happy  being here; I have learned heaps, and enjoy the friendship.  :)
Funny old life.

I'm Adam - live in the Perth hills and work as a manager in local govt.  In my mid 30s and been into modifying cars etc for several years with a few different projects, mostly Jap imports as well as an old 1967 Datson Fairlady Roadster... but they're all gone now.  With those I was probably more the 'financier' than the modifier, as I don't know much about wroking on cars whatsover... so I thought a Bedford would give me a good base on which to learn all about it and build something I am a little more hands on with.  Got myself a 1977 SWB, plus just got a second SWB camper that will soon become parts on the wall of the garage.  Love the site and the helpful people on it, and glad to help out with some forum moderating.

Well hello

I'm in my early 50's, a single father of 4, with a few projects and hobbies, and to few time.

I have a SWB CF with a 202, aussie 4 speed, highway diff and seating for 8, it's sitting forlornly at the moment as I try to find time to give it some TLC.

Between Work, Kids, preparing for my Black Belt in Karate, and playing in the garage with my toys, I try to find time to suf the net.

With this new site running so well looks like some thing will have to give :(

Hey,

Brett from Melbourne here.  Recently got my '77 CF SWB to use as a daily driver....other car's a Lotus Elise which is awesome but can't carry quite as much as the Beddy.

Hoping to go a bit nuts on 70's stuff with the van, but currently working on making it as reliable as possible.... tick tick tick...

Work wise, own a little cocktail bar in Northcote and teach/coach Kendo (Japanese fencing) when not at work.  Recently married to a beautiful woman, who, when posed with the question "Baby, what would you say if I was looking at getting a van kinda like this...?" was supremely awesome enough to reply  "F#$k YEAH!"

Life's ok, despite my can of worms van, which is loved in spite of its can of wormness!

Cheers
Brett
