How about this for an idea.

it would need a bit of playing around to get the design right and the latch but would be cool.

Ben why not try doing a bonnet and grill in one.

that way when you lift the bonnet it gives you extra access to the radiator etc.

you would have to make it so it was just the centre section  of the grill leaving the headlights in place

Im not sure if its relevant, but i have been thinking about this, as i have been watching so many of those restoration shows on foxtel.....i would love to try and get a front end with that old muscle car look from the old american type fronts, you know a point at the front (nothing out landish) with alot of chrome....i dont know how to do it, but theoretically id just attach a piece to the bonnet that kinda made it look like a beak....like a birds beak???

hey 68holden.. that van has been sitting in that wrecking yard for a long time now.. i thought everything would have gone off it..
i offered to buy the lot and he wanted like 800 bucks for it.. what a rip.

he also told me he sold the original diff in it for 300 bucks!!! far out the guy must have been desperate!
