What early holden would it be able to be converted into with out major surgery?

I looked at this van a few years back, it was for sale for about $2500 for the whole van. Looks like it is being stripped for parts, which probably means it will be crushed. Sad end to another Bedford. & yes, he is asking way too much for the condition the front end is in.

Ive got a complete front same as it ,
with disk brakes,Booster and master cylinder steering rack, shocks, springs etc.
Still in van, take out of my van and bolt in yours.

Ive got a complete LWB jumbo front and SWB a standard drum front $250 each

Hope this is not too far off subject...

Has anyone done a disk brake conversion on the CFL 3350kg dual wheel C/C?
I see the most common is for holden conversions.
Unfortunately because of weight I can't do holden conversion on the camper.
I was thinking of sussing out the disks off something like a Mercedes Sprinter or Iveco Daily trucks and seeing if they could be used.

Any ideas?

If not disks then what is the plan B?
Is a master cylinder and booster an option to improve the braking?
My camper is 3 tonne so I need all the help I can get.

How about the latest Transit I think there 6 stud arnt they All you need is a hub to fit the disc too & make a bracket to hold the calliper should be a piece off piss Cheers Reid

Could be an interesting option mate.  Thanks for that.  There should be a fair few of them in the wreckers too.
I'll arm myself with a tape and go and suss it out.

From memory [which is not good ] Black Beddie said the late transit 6 stud was the same as the LWB bedford so you could use the standard LWB hub & all you need is to make a bracket to mount the calliper should be easy Cheers Reid

Your right Reid, Transit van are the same stud pattern and their rims have a safety bead, were the Beddy does not. The bloke at Avoca has one and a highway diff but won't part with it
