Beddy bits available
« on: April 28, 2013, 05:02:48 PM »
Hi all. I just bought 2 Beddies on the weekend for parts. Both fairly rusty. Only one of them had the stuff I wanted but he wouldn't separate. So..... once I get them home (in about 2 weekends time) and strip out the stuff I want/need there will be lots available. Let me know if there is anything in particular you need and I will check the condition and remove. Make me a fair offer and its yours. Funny how these things seem to breed.

No worries Rogerfied. Maybe we could do a deal on your adaptors. One of the vans came with a Ford 9" widened to suit the Beddy. The main reason I wanted it. Still with Ford pattern. You probably know the best way I can swap the fronts to the same pattern, disc or drum I don't care. Boosted drums work very well so either way suits me.

I'll let you know when I get them.

I'm assuming you mean the inner wheel arches. Yep they are OK. I'll need to look at the rear 1/4s though. If you are prepared to come to Geelong you can take the whole body when I'm done stripping it. I don't have the equipment to be cutting stuff out of it and I will be sending it of the the recyclers when I'm done with it.

Still interested?

G'day what are the gutter sections like? Or whole roof?

Dunno how I missed your post, sorry Westy. As it happens the gutters and roof, in fact the bodies are just the same as any Beddy that has spent its life in the weather. So no good.

If anyone is interested I have two rear doors, one in very good condition and the other needing minor repair to the bottom 25mm or so. Make me a fair dinkum offer for them both. Sell as a pair only.
