G'day
I was never "cornering the market", when I was buying Bedfords, they were still fairly common. I was running a service business and ran a fleet of them.
I can remember a week (years ago) that the Trading Post had 60-something CFs listed nation wide.
The problem I have is that most of my stories end with... and that is why I am not allowed to go back there!

geez chris I remember those days too ........ the internet is a great source for finding beddies but it also attracts more buyers, good yes for enthusiasts bad though for us looking for a bargain, I found a few good beddies parked in driveways and cheekily knocked on the front door and asked if they were for sale, got three great buys that way by talking down the value, nowadays its way harder cause the value of beddies are advertised widely through the internet, no complaints though, it just means that there are more beddies on the road. Hey Nathro, if you ever meet benn he is a young gun legend, really nice bloke and a brother from another mother, a real ball of energy and such a likable guy ... onya Benny !!!!!
ekm ...... never lead with your chin, let others lead with theirs

Its all good chris, i was only playing around :D

Pity the 'good old days' seem to have passed by in regards to the volume of beddy's around. However it still amazes me with the ones that pop up on ebay and the various classifieds.

I have seen a few beddys driving around on the streets of canberra over the past few years. If i see any of them again i will be chasing them down and introducing myself (and of course giving BUGA a plug).

For those of you in SEQ found a rusted out shitter with "5 speed box and hwy diff offers"  not a usable panel on it and it was a sliding door model I think even the glass had rust! 8)
If you like it do it, If you like it a lot do it a lot!
