Lookin' sweet Gordon. All it needs now is a club run to go on. Will keep you posted about the next one. Then with the chev installed I feel a run to Christchurch mid April 2014 for the next Nationals. ;D ;D  Would be good to see the Best Newcomer award next year retained in Auckland.

See you soon.
Garry.

Thanks for the words of encouragement Garry and Bas. Got called in to work this morning so didn't get a chance to take her for her WOF. Hoping to sneak it in tomorrow.

Hiya All

Just got back from the testing station and I'm chuffed to say that she passed her WOF with flying colours. Just forked out over $300 for another 12 months of REGO ... yikes. Now I just need to get another 6 months WOF on the red CF2 before I strip out her mechanicals.

A couple of years and your rego will drop, my white one only costs $111 a year for rego cause of its age, is a '71
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

Spent Friday afternoon pulling the old Vauxhall slant 4 out of the CF1 and got so inspired that I spent yesterday pulling the V8 out of the donor van. A few pics attached.

A few extra pics. Today I'll start installing the original Vauxhall motor and box into the donor van, so I can get it back on the road.

Hey Gordon, are you kidding, $300 for 12months rego, mate we are lucky to get 12months for under $700, a 4cyl here in Qld is around $600+ now.
