Talking about fun Garry, I'm busy working on fitting a set of Stubtech dropped front spindles. Quite a job that entails cutting out the ball joint seats from the lower suspension arms and welding in a new ball joint seat for a HQ lower ball joint. A bit tricky to say the least.

Thanks for the offer Garry. My first deadline is to have the van back on the road by end November so we can do the Orewa cruise night on 6th December and the Salvation Army Car show at St Heliers on 9th December, so plenty of time still to go. Interior can come after that if need be as long as its completed in time for the Nationals.

Nah, nothing as flash Busy. Standard old school 249 HP GM Goodwrench long block. Will fit all new ancillaries including new carbie and Hei distributor. The motor out of the donor van was already 40 thou oversize and using oil so I figured better to start from a good base than throw money at something with a limited lifespan. Did some investigation on the cost of engineering work and assembly and when you factor in your cost of parts its starting to get close to the point where it makes more sense to replace than rebuild.

Wet weekend in Auckland, so couldn't paint my suspension bits. Spent today fitting and wiring up my old school gauge pod. Very chuffed with the retro look.

Hi fellow BUGAs, I'm in need of some assistance. The round rubber seal that fits between the standard Bedford brake master cylinder and booster has gone missing somewhere along the line. Sterlings can match it for me if I can provide them with the dimensions of the seal. Does anyone out there have one handy that they can measure and take a photo of for me. Was hoping to pull the one off my CF2 donor van, but it doesn't have a standard setup so that won't help. Thanks in advance. Cheers Gordon
