I brought the donor LWB with the Chevy + TH400 etc about 3 years ago. But only started actually buliding it in Easter 2007 when I brought the good chassis I'm using now.
At present I'm not doing much each week, as the wiring is being done by a sparky. But generally I guess at least 4-5 hours a week minimum, some much more, some less, depending on what I'm doing to it.
And I guess motivation comes from that fact that I'm not too far off being able to drive it! And at the start was just wanting to build an almost new Bedford Van...
My advice when doing you're LWB, rip everything off it, then pull those components apart even further. Replace or recondition everything possible... For example, I had to have rear bump/over-ride stops made up, as you can't buy new ones. But it's worth paying the extra to have it looking or being new, rather than putting old ones back on.

Pretty much, hoping not too far off 2 years anyways...! Well it'll be close to $30K I imagine, after the paint & interior is done, I'm half way to that so far, though I have lots of bits sitting waiting to be installed down the track, i.e. fridge etc etc. Some might say way too much, but I'll never sell it, I'd never get back what I put in anyways!!! Though after it all, I'll be able to say the oldest thing on it is the chassis itself....
