Well done Joel, what a score!

I've had the HQ mod done to my front end.

So does this mean you're running with the Bedford stud pattern?

What diff are you using? And what ratio?

Yes Bedford stud pattern on front.
My new diff is a 9" LSD, with a 3.0 ratio. I had the original Bedford diff housing/axle cut & a 9" housing welded in. Kept the CF stud pattern on the rear also.

Tried to replace everything I could with new or reconditioned parts if new wasn't an option, saves having to change out old "anythings" later on I guess.

Still a while to go though...

It'll be well worth the wait in the end though! ;D

I'd take mine off the road and do a ground up rebuild, if I could live with out it that is!

I know what body mods I want to make, so it can make it a little frustrating at times cause there's things I can't do yet cause the body mods arn't done. Doh! It can be a vicious cycle! ::)

Which spark plug clips did you use?

And is that the 110gph Holley pump you've got on there?

As the motor is in the van now it'll be too late to take a photo of the back of the engine from the top showing where the exhaust flanges end. So my question is do they end parallel to each other, or is one longer, lower or higher than the other?

I also noticed that you have your exhaust running down either side of the tail shaft. What is the clearance like between the one on the drivers side and the fuel tank? Has this been checked by an engineer, or is this not a problem?

Standard Champion plugs at the moment, but I’m going to get some new ones before the final tune. I've looked into Platnium or Iridium High performace ones, but have some up short so far.

And yes 110gph fuel pump.

The headers aren’t parallel, the right hand side one comes further back that the other & is slightly higher. The headers are off/for a Camaro.
The clearance should be fine for certification… The blokes who did my exhaust know there stuff, so would have taken that into consideration. There’s enough room between the exhaust & fuel tank to put some sort of heat shield anyway if needed.

Awesome, cheers Joel!

The clips that you're using to hold your spark plug leads to the rocker covers, what are they? I currently have mine cable tied in the same place, but those clips you're using are heaps neater and better looking! 8)

They are pretty common, just lead holders. Come with bolts to replace the normal cover bolts. You should be able to pick them up from any V8 type shop.
