Hi all. I'm a new Guy
« on: January 21, 2013, 09:51:56 PM »
Hello good people out in Bedford world,

My Name is Andrew but everybody calls me Ox.  I have recently purchased a CF bannana back truck with the view to do a quick tidy up and then use the trusty little bedford in a cancer council rally.  Please note this is not a bash or anything damaging (I would never do that to any of my cars)  The bedford is going to be part of the support crew taking stricken cars to a triage point where we can fix them and continue our journey.

I though you all may be interested in the progress of my truck and may be able to help steer me in the right direction.  Any talk or feedback would be greatly appreciated.  I will also hope you might like to follow me during the event so that we can show the world just how great these cars are.  :)

Hoo roo for now

Thanks for the Warm reception,

The planned rally is from sydney to Adelaide then to freemantle via Uluru.  Unfortunatley today i was asked to drive a backup truck and may have to leave the Bedford till next year (run unknown).  This will however give me time to make the old girl purr and I can do a better job in the long run.
The other use of the Beddy is to transport a few very old cars to display days and charity events and still be a dispaly herself :o.

I hope I can still keep you good folks interested in the bedfords restoration and modifications as I roll along.  Do I now move this thread to a different section of this site?

Start up a new thread for the restoration
make it reliable, or smash it with a big hammer
