Awesome weekend on the Beddie, didn't get half the stuff done that i was aiming for but at least the windows and front indicators are in - next challenge is the headlights - don't know if i'm looking forward to that one!

OK, whoever it was that invented the window mechanism's for a beddy needs to be found and shot - buried then dug up and shot again - what a stupid, STUPID system - a preschooler could have come up with something better - after hours and HOURS of dicking around, the front widows are finally in and working - unlike my skinned knuckles and elbows!

OUCH
mezzmo are they gear  type or cable like some Cortina's?

I have a universal power window kit but i'm not sure now if i want to use it, the way the Beddies are i would have to make up a door skin to cover it and i haven't made up my mind yet as to the interior style.

fit the kit and see if it works first then decide on door trimming

three photo's down the bottom....this was an Autolok window kit , a worm drive system that the motor  can be re-located along the worm gear from memory, (it was a while ago) and I didn't realize this till I was looking for same system online. This one was a 2nd handy on flea bay...cheap as ... the billet switches I used, I  just got online somewhere. works well..

Getting close now, I have to go away for the weekend so i have to wait just a wee bit longer! Indicators are all fitted up and the headlights have been fitted for size and they go in like a bum in a bucket.....sweeeeeeet. Sparky has done everything he had to so that sides all finished. I reckon one more weekends work then she goes back to Racepaint for a few repairs (call me Mr all thumbs) then her final rubdown and polish. Really looking forward to taking her on her maiden run.
