carby swap
« on: November 20, 2012, 09:32:08 PM »
I have an early carb on my 186 that has the vented fuel chamber ( little valve thingy on top ) . Can I swap it for a commadore carb ( ex a 179 ) that has a sealed chamber?  Would it be much of a drama?  Will the complete 179 manifold/carby bolt onto my 186 without any hassles ?
Cheers,Bob.
