Well my van was giving me some troubles today but as I parked him up and walked away I couldn't
help but snap some pics of him... The fading sun did wonders for his appearance.  :D

Stikman,

At first I thought it to be the carby but I think I got some bad fuel.
I ran the van for a couple of hours and it started to improve.

This is what happens....

Will not idle but when you press the accelerator down it coughs and dies.
If you press the accelerator down very slowly it coughs slightly but you can get it past dieing.

It got better the more I drove it, it's fine once your foot is down but from take off it was coughing and missing.
Towards the end of the drive it had nearly gone away but was still doing it but not as bad.

It has happened once before, I got some bad fuel and the side effects were similar.
For something different I pulled the choke out and it was idling high but stopped coughing??? Don't know what to think now!  :)

Sounds like a sticking float or just crap in your carbie. If you can, pull it off, clean it in some fuel, throw it back on and see what happens. By the sounds it can't make it any worse. Unless you have spare parts in your hand when done that is ::)

i hope you're not running bad fuel through your Beddy! :-X Nothing but good quality high octane's the go! ;)

It's been a while... but Barry is about to make a return to the road with disc brake front end and hq stud pattern all round.
Long live the beddy. Stay tuned for updates.
