anything would be good,
do they check seats very thoroughly with blue slips, ?
i had 2 sets of great standard seats sold them in 2 vans, the buyers put aftermarket seats in n chucked the std ones,  ???

Hi Marty, Ben's right it depends on who is doing your blue slip. If you do have after market seats and bases you'll need an engineers report. Mine cost me $175. Easier than swapping seats back and forward each year! The things to check are - Are you using the original bolt holes in the floor? And which ever seats you use you must bolt them to the bases using the seats original mounting posts. In other words you just need to use the complete seat with it's slide rails and all.

My engineers report cost me $175 and about 15 minutes. No more dramas! Just a thought.

Good luck!  ;)

true tweaker depends who,s doin blue slip.
my SWB has aftermarket seats and no engineers cert,
ive never been hassled about them though.
i just want some std seats to get my LWB passed its blue slip then the recaro,s go back in.

i was talkin with a friend (Alan) the other day, he has got his seats modafied,
there,s hinges on the front seat base and car bonnet catches on the back.

so the seats can be opened like a bonnet and hinged foward for access, great idea i thought, im going to have a look at his setup, might even do same on my LWB after its regoed.

there you go eddy.. car bonnet hatches on the back of your seats.. eddy kjust done this in his camper.. and im going to be doing it too.. flippen grous idea..

hey tweaker, the early model beddys didnt have seats bolted to the floor, they were welded on the inside and on the outside, incase you wanted to weld you could and argue that it was welded.. man so many differences between the early and late model cfs.. glad they kept the stunning looks the same thou:)

cheers
