hey resto, boy you never cease to amaze me with your ingenuity  ;) I'm heading to Evans Heads in about 6 weeks so may be an opportunity to call by for a cuppa and check out the campa project ... hoping to call in on the New South Welshman on the way up north, TAKING 12 MONTHS LEAVE WITHOUT PAY BUT i GOTTA BURN 18 WEEKS OF PAID LONG SERVICE LEAVE BEFORE THEN SO HOOKING UP THE CARAVAN ONCE MORE AND ME AND THE MISSUS GOING WHERE EVER THE ROAD LEADS TO ONCE MORE  ;D

Hi Resto, no probs ... I mean i don't even know where the riverina is let alone Telegraph Point, just gunna go with the flow, no plans other than catching up with mum and dad at Evans Heads for a coupla weeks ... mum and dad are a great retired young at heart couple in their 70s from Tamworth who we met last year in our travels up north, took a liking to them ended up touring with them for 5 weeks because we couldn't say goodbye to each other, ah life on the road .....

cool, we'll be cruising past both places on our way north, going straight up the Hume to Seedyknee then onto the Pacific Hwy, bro that must be some birhday party  your planninng ... most of May? man I fall asleep after two stubbies  ;D

Yeah Eddy Im a bit like that a 2pot screamer Hey Bas your right bloddy thing wont come out THANKS for the headsup the extractors were to suit a blue or black motor & they had a smaller starter motor SO its off to my friendly auto electrics & get a rebuilt smaller one the old one needed a rebuild anyway Spent the arvo modifing the inlet manifold to fit over the extractors had to do a lot of chopping & grinding but got it to fit now to fit the webber to it Ill get some photos tomorrow Cheers Reid

Photos as promesed the inlet manifold will be machined flat on top & the adaptor for the webber bolted on then machined out bigger Wont be the ultimate but I wont have to modify the engine cover & will give it a little boost

Well guys got a bit more done this week Got my brandnew gear reduction starter motor $150 Full set welsh plugs $10 Painted extractors & started modifying inlet manifold Slowley getting it done all for now Cheers Reid

Got a bit more done this week finished off the inlet manifold & installed it & the extractors All I have to do now is hook up theexagerator cable & the fuel line & make an adaptor for the top off the carbie to hook up the standard aircleaner then fire her up Hope that carbie works as I bought it at a swap meet & have no clue what it came off fingers crossed Cheers Reid
