strange how everyones van is different

when I put the v6 and hq disc brakes in my standard van I kept the cf booster but found it didnt pull up very well so put the vn commodore booster in. works pretty good but i can't lock the brakes up if i jump on them.

Joel was running the standard cf booster with the original cf disc brakes, he reckoned it was good and he's running the v8
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

What do suggest as a replacement master benny.

george.

anything with a 1 inch bore..

the ford xb eara master seems to be the easiest conversion also size wise its about the same as orig so wont hit bonnet like others..

sorry restoreid never pulled one apart. when they stuff up i chuck another one on.. same with ball joints when the stuff u i grab another wishbone with good ball joint in it and throw it in.. much quicker for me.

i would advise anyone with a bedford to buy a spare van for parts.. parts are just to hard to come by. even if you wreck it out so you dont have the shell laying around.

chris ryan will be able to drive bedfords for the rest of his life and his kids lifes cause he has that many parts! i wanna be driving bedfords for ever also thats why i think its worth investing in wreck vans..

Hi guys Here is a photo off finished front discs conversion all that's needed is a 2inch dust cap or ill have to make an adaptor to fit a holden one Other photo for those that are interested is the non return valve in standard bedford master cylinder which I belive has to be removed when discs are installed Cheers Reid

Well guy's finally got it going & took it for a lap on thursday arvo Left the nonreturn valves out Not happy the pedal nearly went to the floor before brakes started to work so back up on jack stands all wheels off & had a head scratch what to do so I put the nonreturn valves back in they are plastic spring loaded & have a small bleed hole in the centre Gave  the whole system a good pleed Wife came in handy there got a fair bit of air out Put wheels back on & went for another lap FANTASTIC best thing ive done to it sofar Just have to find some 2inch dust caps & job finished By the way the front track 'center of tyre to center of tyre only increased by 5mm at 1670 mm over standard bedford real happy with that steering will be NO heavier Anyway enough for now Cheers Reid
