wanted- a complete pair of CF1 tail lights please. NZ.
« on: November 14, 2012, 06:33:24 PM »
For the CF I am working on. its almost on the road now. I must update the thread!  ;D anyway- it had been fitted with horrible little tail lights that had been attached to a bits of steel pop riveted over the existing original holes. Yuck!  So i am after some complete lights, hopefully in NZ.

I presume or have an idea that the CF2 lights are different?

cheers all,
alex

Bit of a long shot...
A guy in western Sydney reproduces plastic automotive lenses.  He goes by 'streetlens' on ebay Australia.  Currently has a few listings eg; 'Honda T500 truck lenses'.  Prices seem realistic, considering the die making and apparent quality.
Anyway, I've often pondered how much it would cost to get CF tailights reproduced, for me the BODY is rarer than lenses.
Perhaps a group order would be an idea??

regs,
AndrewOC
PS there are other dudes that also do plastic repros in OZ, I just couldn't be bothered lookin them up now...

Sorry I don't have any tail lights or light switches left
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

I have a pair of rear lights out of a 1975 CF van. I don't know if that's a CF1 or CF2?

The tank has been custom made, very strong, sits where the existing tank sits and uses the same fill point on the side, I think it holds 120 lt, has a fule sender on top, but did not work correctly, not sure why, I wont need it as I plan to run dedicated lpg with twin lpg tanks, comes with all the brackets and fittings, its in very good condition, somebody certenatly went to a lot of trouble making it
