a frothy
« on: October 03, 2012, 04:07:42 PM »
hi folks,
just checked my diff oil after a 1km test drive after a new rear bearing only to find it seemed all frothy.
any ideas why it would be frothy.
standard single wheel diff with castrol ep80-90 oil and a bit of moreys. have checked it plenty of times b4 and not seen this

cheers,

benzzzy.

Not good, definatly sounds like water in the oil, hopefully the case hardening has not been effected

let it settle and check again, moreys sticks to things and it gets air rated. Very good shit though
make it reliable, or smash it with a big hammer
