Introducing... me
« on: July 19, 2012, 11:17:51 PM »
Hello all :)

I am not yet a Bedford owner, but soon will be if all goes to plan.

And the plan is to get a Bedford for a Business van.  I make very natural skin care and other therapeutic products & I plan to take over the world one skin condition at time.  It has been decided that a Bedford will go very nicely with the image of the business.

Not yet decided if I get one and have it done up to suit my needs, or buy one that is already in good shape. Though the pretty ones seem to be getting away from us fast.

So I am here to get some advice and learn more about Bedfords in general.

My first car was a mini cooper, my second a fastback... that was anything but fast.

Cheers
Kate

:) thought you were another spammer for a second, nearly deleted you untill i read your post. you arnt are you?????? ;D lol, i dont think skin cream would help many of us bedford guys anyway, most of us are old wrinkly blokes, haha

where you from Kate?
bedford vans are awsome.
one would make a perfect work van for you.
just make sure you buy a good one.
and dont jump at one just because it looks good, get it checked out by someone that knows them.

good luck with the search, hope you find something that suits you.

cheers marty

I can't imagine he's owned it long enough to know whether the kms are real.
I always assume they've clocked over a few times.  How high does a bedford odometer go up to?

Oh and old wrinkly skin loves my products, but I'm not here to sell :)

yeah they usually have gone around the clock a few times.
i find it hard to believe its 60,000kms. could verywell be though.
looks like its got original bedford hubcaps, they in themselves would be rare as.

but if it is its a colectors item, :)
id buy it n put it in a glass case.

maybe its a deceased estate? some old bloke might have had it stored away for 48 years.
