Hey Bas,

Well done on the negotiating skills with keeping the van.

Lights wise I'd go with #1 but drop the number plate down between the lights. If you use the Hella rectangular stop&tail, reversing and indicator lights there's plenty of room. Check the back end of my van out and you'll see the effect. You can also get the lights in a 3 light pod ready to fit. Found that out after I made mine.

Keep us posted on the final outcome.

Garry.

Ok guys, looks like this is the one most people like, so this is it, as the van sports a lower tailgate, the stop and reverse will need to be suncken into this, while the blinker into the body, sounds like fun........

Yo Bas thats the one, above this, thats how i did my 4X4, go for it, just keep the lights inside the body shape, and you have a winner, cant wait to see the pics as you do the build.

Yep, thats it, the top one is Craigs van, before he got his hands on it, now it's a rusty colour.....  ;)

Will do the taillights, but will have to keep them low, due to the catch placement for the lower hatch, will put the half window in first to see what it looks like, and then I can make up the rebate for the lager window, as the /half window hole would just be made lager. So good chance to see what it would look like.

I don't like any of those taillights I like the factory tinted Ford LTD tail lamps, (Craig pic please) then being a van you just gotta have a bubble window this can be made in any shape I've seen chevy bow ties love hearts etc.
Happy to be living past my "use by date" I was given 6-12 months to live in August 2007
