New menber/old vanner
« on: May 28, 2012, 08:23:57 AM »
Hi everybody, my name is Graham, some of you early vanners might rember the van I built and showed, Moonlight Dreamer, that was back in 77-88, found your great site while doing some reserch on the bedfords, I am thinking of a starting a new project using a bedford, I have allways wanted to do one up, heaps of room to go wild with my airbrush, I dont have one yet, just started looking so any help would be greatly appreciated, looking forward to getting back into vanning againe, its been 25 years and its good to see some of the old vans are still aroud.

sure do but I think some of the best pics are in the first issue of Vantastic magazine, there is a 7 page article done just before I sold it to Monk, who is on this curent post with a picture of the HK Holden as his avatar.  Now I have moved on and looking forward to doing up a bedi, dying to get the airbrushes out again, designs have just about been done, just need the van, maybe I will call it Moonlight Dreamer 2 lol, just joking Pete, this van will have no name, nothing wrong with names, just my personal choice this time

a wise old man once said to me ..... i think it was something like 1% of vanners will always be vanners and surround themselves in the van scene, van clubs and the like, these are what you call true vanners as it's not all about the van, it's the comradery the company the good times and the memories. How many vanners do you know that are still involved in the van scene and how many went on to the hot rod scene?

welcome aboard Graham youv'e now found a second home, seee you somewhere, sometime at the not too distant van nats ... one day.
Dano.
Can I go play now...?
