Armadale Auto Parts have access to aftermarket columns and I think they have a column auto that is cable opperated , give them a call

i have been in contact with armadale auto's and they have convinced me to go with a LOKAR floor mount automatic shifter which is cable driven..  $450

That way i can mount the bench seat and then put the shifter where ever it fits..  it has a very long shifter 23" so it should fit quite nicely..  2 bends in the shaft also

this will be much easier than converting to column.

should look good...  deciding on the 23" or the 16"...   bigger is not always better...  so they say

the main problem with a loker and bench seat is to get it into park you'll lean to far forward, and due to the hight, you might even have to cut a bit out of the bench to get into first. I hope I'm wrong cos I think a bench seat is cool.
