For sale - bedford parts
« on: May 07, 2012, 10:28:53 AM »
So you all know I'm moving and have to sell off my toys and bits.

Let me know what you need (If I have it), please keep it just to this thread no PM's (they to hard to keep track of).
Am giving you guys first option on everything then will list the rest on NZ auction site

What I have is mostly smaller stuff now, no engine, gearbox or diffs. Have 1 set of front doors (rusty), one side door, about 4 mk1 bonnets but all have rust along the front (inside and out - was going to rebuild them).
Think I still have 2 trident mags (no tyres) and a set of steel mags (with tyres), have all the usual, front hubs, front drums (sorry bas no rear ones), heater, spare wheel holder, bumpers, lights, bonnet hinges galore, several wiring looms (may not all be complete now), steering colums, ign (with keys), handles (no keys), badges, visors (inside), susp arms, front springs (swb and lwb), 1 set of single rear springs .... lots more

Would be keen to swap parts for model vans (any 1/24 or 1/25 scale) or little diecast vans that I don't have (the ones I do have are here ) no vw, transits or late model stuff
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

I'll give you a call this week and jack up getting together to check out the trailer etc.

Cheers,
Garry.

Jock, the mk1 bonnet and rear door badge are the same. I'll have to check I got any of the middle bonnet ones with pins - is always the pins that break on the badges.

They are complete (backing plate, pads, clys, drums) but they're wider than the backs

Ok, didn't think about that, wouldn't fit against the axle then... or will the drum overhang the backing plate.......

David off the subject sorry, but when you got your diff done, holden head, what Buedford diff did you have, Square 9" / round 10" and do you know if the holden center can can fit in the round one  / if you had the other as these are heavy duty, took one apart I have here, every thing is nealy double the size..........

Can't remember size of drums but front drums are nearly twice as wide as back ones.

My diff was square I think, had the cresta in it. the holden diff will only take the smaller cf axles, the large LWB axles are to big. You could get the axles turned down, resplined and re hardened but would be pricey
