Did you replace a 3 speed with a 4 speed ? if so it should bolt straight in.

When you say won't fit, just what do you mean ?

you also need the plastic gear that the square end of the cable goes into, several different colours for different ratios - allowing for different ratio diffs.

I used to be vague..................Now I'm not so sure

Has always been a 4 speed,

the connection is completely different as per this photo.

when i received the van it was simply screwed in by a cover but no connection was being made.

Cheers,

Ross.

Well a long time ago now, just went to holden and was told the white cog was the one to use, did it and tested speedo with a freinds car in front and was a perfect match., But yes it was a white one. hooked up to standard CF dash / speedo, If you hang off will pull cable off tomorrow and double check.

Jock, wasen't able to get under the van to have a look, van is up against a wall (drivers side) under cover and is droped down to fit under the cover, won't be moved for a couple of months, but very sure it was the white one.... Bas
