Garage Update..
« on: September 13, 2008, 10:59:27 PM »
Well at last....the Beddy is in the garage:) I know i know, not very exciting for most, but for me...this is a landmark achievment after nearly 2/3mnths.... it means i can finally do stuff, such as sand him back and start work on the interior:) I feel like i need to get my hands dirty ASAP so that i can have that feeling of progress, the bad news was i found some more covered up rust holes under the wheel arch, i am now 100% certain that this vehicle was sandblasted by previous owner and then sprayed over once the holes started to show.....As the wholes in the wheel arch are spot painted (ie not entire area, just directly over the holes) and the previous owner is now selling his sandblasting equipment:(

Ohhh well.....in for a penny...in for a pound:) Gives me time to rethink the look and shape of him:)

But the motor sounds good, and it idled....(never did before) so it looks like it was just completely dry as far as petrol goes.

I will post pics of my progress also....:)  (Note: Have posted all my pics in album)
