Lucky as i have a brothers whos an A class Welder and was thinkn of removing it the roof, and replacing the hole.

Is there anyone in Melb that may of converted thr roof to a camper and kept there cut out roof,i want to buy it..lol!!
Any other suggestions,please do tell!
Steve said it cant be replaced with just another bit of metal as i thought,lol..a beddy roof has a bend in it,spewn..everythings got to be the hard way with a beddy huh? :-\

Poochie

If I were you I would keep it, but if you do want to replace it, most of the curve in the roof is around the gutters so a roof of a eightys wagon or van may be used.

I used to be vague..................Now I'm not so sure

Easy, just deck out the insides ;0)
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

Hi Shelly i have done the same replaced pop up top to std van i replaced the whole roof with a glass one from Ben fitted new gutters you will have to make extra roof braces where the hole is i also glassed the inside of the hole for extra strength  mine has taken time for the lack of income but when done looks great you cant tell   remove all the paint and use sikaflex 227 auto adhesive check out the sikaflex web site  when my daughter gets back i will get her to post some photos  good luck rizzo

Shell, if you get a steel roof why not consider glueing it on.  NO DISTORTION, no grinding
I used the 3M panelbond stuff  to replace a  side window and to put a panel across the top of the back doors, cost $90 but magic stuff.

If you like it do it, If you like it a lot do it a lot!
