HOW Ebay now makes money

I have lamented doing business with ebay and Paypal on the old Forum and I found this on a Torrent site:

Decide if you really want to sell on ebay (for the 5 weeks, before you get suspended, and ebay steals your money: positive seller's account balances).

HOW Ebay now makes money:
1) a new seller registers
2) you pay your seller's fees, have a POSITIVE account balance
3) after 4-5 weeks ebay suspends seller FOR NO REASON ("abusig ebay...blabla..)
4) ebay keeps the suspended seller's POSITIVE account balance

Ebay does this several thousand times Every Day, "easy money" GREAT CASH-FLOW!

Your not wrong there Chris this has happen to me a few times of the years, I just thought i was keeping a track on my balance and maybe i wasn't if they get court it will be a jail sentence

Doesn't make sense. The sellers are the ones bringing in the money. Sounds like scare mongering to me.

It may be a bit of an urban myth. I have spoken to a couple of regular ebay sellers who say they have been suspended for no valid reason but they do get most of their money, eventually. Apparently you have to leave at least $50 in your account at all times to avoid the above trouble.
Non of them had anything good to say about ebay though.
