« on: March 18, 2012, 11:58:44 AM »
hey all, so i'm finally beginning ripping my beddy apart for my custom restore!

how are the front side panels removed? are they welded in place? the rest was rather logical!

need to get them off in order to repair the rust!!

thanks guys, appreciated  :)

I have, but as Ben said not in one peice, if you clean it up good and are able to find all the spot welds your be right, I know some people have done it on here ok, might pay to invest in a spotweld drill bit, for a cleaner job.......

The panels are also glued so getting them out nicely isn't possible without damaging the surrounding panels
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

awesome, thanks guys!

I'm just going to rip them off completely and go with fibreglass. That will sort out any rust issues :)

thanks heaps, andy :)
