PB Whipped new promo van for 2 months
« on: March 10, 2012, 08:40:48 AM »
Hi all,  Just finished the beddy ice cream van I bought in January, it's now in activation in Melbourne somewhere for 4 weeks, then off to Sydney for 4 weeks then off to Brisbane for a week then back to me to strip and redo for the next client.  I have been told the the current client loves it, not bad for my first beddy.
There was only one issue with it, on the second day the driver forgot that it was a three speed auto and left it in 2nd. Hmm broke the gearbox trying to go down the ring road in Melbourne. stupid head...  :'(

It's serving a new product from Kraft called PB Whipped.

Big Thanks goes out to:

Ben, Fibreglass rear flares
Bedford Manor - New petrol tank, as the stupid truck driver ripped out the first one taking it off the truck in Sydney, (he did not put his ramps in the correct position) no compensation, never use them again.
Worby (Ian) - Just chatting and getting great hints as he was my old boss.

When I get some more photos of it, I'll post them.
Cheers
Ian

Well done Ian

A few questions

Is the "paint Job" all a wrap? or just the graphics?

Do you lease it out as a promotional vehichle?

I like the colour comb - sweet

Thanks Frank,  Was made to be playing the whole Greensleeves music. But they may have other music on their playlist.

Love my peanut butter, and people say it's banned from most schools these days
make it reliable, or smash it with a big hammer

G'day Ian,
I've just returned from NZ And PNG so just catching up on all the emails etc.

mate the finished project Beddy looks great and is a real credit to you.

aside from the gearbox issues did they manage to get the motor going better?
Was there a problem with loss of compression caused by valve seat recession ?

can't. Wait to see what the next clients theme will be.

Cheers

Ian
