G'day

If anybody does have look at it...
Any chance of posting more photos of whats in the back. I don't think there would be much room for mischief.
The problem I have is that most of my stories end with... and that is why I am not allowed to go back there!

Nothing a funnel & garden hose couldn't fix & if it's N/o2's use a bucket or "BOMBS AWAY!"
Happy to be living past my "use by date" I was given 6-12 months to live in August 2007

G'day

I am a bit lost where a cherry picker on a LWB leads to a No2 but anyway.
Thinking about it "Cherry Picker" would be a good name for a fitted out van.

As far as using a funnel & garden hose, I have found a green banana, a ripe banana, and an electric cattle prod are all you need.

Hi guys,i have just bought the ex tvw 7 cherry picker here in Perth, not lic,no motor/box,but in a reasonable body cond. I dont quite know what im doing with it yet eg,just use it around my house to prune some rather large palm trees by just chucking an old 202 auto in it or to remove all the hydraulics ,boom, etc and return it to the road.Should i carry on in this section or move it to another section under restoration or similar any thoughts?.John

Thanks guys,i put power to hydraulics today and oil went every where so probably wont pursue getting it all working as i can see a lot of time, money and effort going in to an area that isnt a must have,i would only use it once a year or so ,so getting van back on road to have a bit of fun with will prob be the go.Shame in a way but is really quite heavy etc to keep as one unit, apparently orig cost $75,000 to build back in 80,had 308 t400 and GTS dash(which is what it was wrecked for) i will get photos up as soon as my son can do them for me,cheers John

Hey John.....It maybe an idea to put the cherry picker part up for sale if it was cheap enough someone maybe interested to rebuild it and install it into another vehicle??? ;) ;) Might help a bit with the restoration of the van ;D
