Have taken a mould of the two front arches of my Mk2 for Flares and front bumber, they will have a inner skin and bollt on or sealed on under the inner skin, no fibreglass needed.....   Gordon, need to borrow your Read van for the rear......... ;)

Gidday, Rouge, we have another kit that was removed from a members van and sold to another club member, Arron. This was the second kit out of the mould of the front spoiler that you and I have from the original manufacturer. And it is this kit that Barry and I are making a mould of for others. Because the kit was fibreglassed on to the van it came off the edges were chipped and damaged and I had to do a bit of work to restore the pieces, but we are now nearing the time to make the mould. The better we make the plug for the mould the better it will be for those who get the end product. Arron wanted to get a mould made of the kit before he puts it on his van. He has had the kit for the last 3 or more years, so with more and more people wanting the kit I set about finding someone to make a mould, and that as they say is how we are where we are at the moment. All going well should have something out within the month, pending on Kevin, the boatbuilder who is helping us.

Cheers Jeff
Just customize it!

If you want a mesh visor I know someone who is going to be making them (he also does disc brake and now power steering units for CF)

Sounds interesting. Confusing but interesting.  ??? Can you elaborate on the 'inner skin' bit? Ta.

The inner skin fits perfect to the body the flare is joined to this in a 2 peice split mould. Seen this done on a Chevy Van while in Germany.

Yeah he still there, he trying to sell up and retire but even when he does sell his retirement is buying another building and doing general engineering projects, including all the CF stuff (disc brakes, power steering, mess visors), he wanted me to rent half the building and do my own stuff and do V6 conversions for him but he has been retiring for a few years now lol

Mcquoid Engineering 765 Rosebank Rd Avondale (Auckland), ask for Murray, tell him David (custom bedford) sent you
