Stuey was at the Nationals and we had a good look at the flares, spoiler and bonet. They are all pretty good and really strong. They fitted well , the finish was great and although they were only screwed on at this stage, molding them into the van would be a breeze. The bonet is available with or without the hood scoop and comes complete with fibreglass inner skin and tapped inserts for all mounting holes and catches. It would be a great bolt on replacement for all those Mk1 bonets that rust out along the front edge.

Garry.

Custom made one,  well it was taken off a spoiler that I made 30 years ago, and has been altered, I still have the mould here, same as the rear roof spoiler etc, they are all a copy, Gemini Plastics made these back in the days.

I don't do this work anymore, but still have all the moulds,

The prices would be:

Front Spoiler $225.00
Flares $110.00 each
Rear roof spoiler $170.00
Side skirts $120.00 each
Bonnet scoop $60.00
Sunvisor $160.00

I take it that his work is good, and it maybe the price it costs these days.

But yes it is great he has made these parts available again, and you don't mind paying for quality these days.

I would buy from them if I needed a part due to the fact I didn,t have the time to make my own.

I think Jeff said on here that their van culb is putting some parts together, waybe woth a look at..........

Gidday,

Yep Barry and I did some more final shaping of the front flares at the weekend, so will be contacting the fibreglasser that is going to make the mould for us this week to see when he can start. We are going to be making copys of the airdam that is on my van and rouges van, and the falres that are on my van. We also managed to score a mould for one piece rear door. The fibreglasser that is teaching us how to do it and making the moulds for us has had a look and said it just needs a bit of tidying up and should be all good to go. Scott in our club has a cf2/ facelift beddy so will have a go at modifying the front flares and make a mould for these. And the fibreglass guy is going to try and set us up a discount supply for the materials through his boss. Don't know how much it is going to cost per unit yet but fibreglasser says it shouldn't be much in materials, so will see how it all pans out.

Cheers Jeff
Just customize it!

I'll be interested in taking a look at the CF2 flares. I'm thinking of not flaring the rear now and just doing the front so I'll probably be looking at something that is shaped like the existing wheel arch but sits out a bit further. Don't know what you had in mind.

It's a shame we're not local as my front is sitting in my basement at the moment. Would have been easier to take a mould of that probably unless yours is removeable Jeff.
