Fibreglass flares, spoilers and other parts.
« on: January 20, 2012, 09:56:33 AM »
Hi all NZders,

Saw on Trademe the other day someone selling fibreglass flares, spoilers, bobtail, bonett, one piece rear doors and a few other bits so I contacted the guy. His name is Ray and he's based in Hamilton. He bought the old parts moulds from the crowd in Gisborne and is now producing the above CF parts again. They look pretty good and the prices seem reasonable. Check him out under services on Trademe, search for CF or call him on 0274909901 or 07 8540005.

Cheers,
Garry.

Be wary of those parts if they are from the guy in Gisborne (Fibreglass auto replacement), I had a lot of trouble with him (the guy in gisborne) because the products were so out of shape and couldn't supply a complete set of anything I wanted (flares). he may of found all the moulds but he tried passing off 3 left rears as a right rear, left rear and right front.

Hopefully this guy does better stuff
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

Hey Jeff, are the flares to suit the airdam and if so are you doing them for the larger wheel arches of the later model? If so I'd be interested in a front pair. Thanks.

Stuey bought a bonnet from the new Hamilton based fellow last weekend and at the same time they test fitted the flares and front spoiler to Stuey's van using gaffa tape. Stuey took a few photos and his comment was that everything fitted pretty sweet. I had a look at the new bonnet that had been fitted to his van and the lines and quality looked pretty good to me. Stuey's in Texas for a few weeks, but I'll ask him to load the pictures into his gallery when he gets back.
