Got the Bedford Bug
« on: December 05, 2011, 06:58:33 PM »
Hi Everyone,
I too now have the Bedford Bug. Got this nice beist in NSW a few months ago. Very rust free. I have an idea to drop a GenIII V8 in it from a write off and transfer all electrics into it. Turn it into a 7 seat family car and take the family away camping.

Recently been in touch with Ben from Ebay and he's sending me over some new panels with a new Easy Roller Dash. Can wait to get it started. Has anyone any tips on the GenIII engine conversion for me?

Was talking to my engineer friend  yesterday, and he said at the moment he is helping put one into an ex Ambo here in NZ, for him to be onboard there must be a lot of work involed........
