Surface rust is your freind, it is away of life. They call it PANTINA. Some people pay extra for it, But don't confuse it with real or structule rust
make it reliable, or smash it with a big hammer

Jimmy

Its hard to tell from the pictures, but most of it looks like surface rust.

Check out This link for examples of where some of the rust occurs in a beddy.

In these photos you can see the paint blistering, while it doesnt look like much, it is an indication that it's rusting from the iside out.

Condesation forms on the inside of the boddy, runs to certain erea's and starts the rusting on the inside, it then slowly works it way throuhg the matal and finally the paint.

places to check are.

Gutters, top of front gaurds, wheel arches, floors quater panels, window, openings.

Best thing is to go look.

I will see if I can bundle some more pics together and start a thead on common rust spots.

you could be right Obssesion.

When you look at the first pic it looks bad, but then the close up doesnt look as bad, but there are the telltale pinhole type rust holes.

A closer look is definetly required to know for sure.

Maybe it's just the photos but the front spoiler looks pissed and the flares look all misshapen as well so there'd be a fair bit of work just to make those look any good.
