Hello
« on: September 28, 2011, 06:25:50 PM »
Hi, Im hopefully going to be buying a 1971 bedford cf and I've joined up because this seems like the place to be.

My Fiancee and I are hopefully going to be taking the van for a warrant of fitness this weekend and if it doesn't fail on much that we don't already know about we'll be getting it :)

We decided to buy a van so we could use it for holidays and sleeping in the back.

I've only owned Japanese cars myself but the Fiancee has a soft spot for CF's as a friend of hers had one as a bed room growing up.

I've found a few old pictures of the van on the internet but she's a lot different now, quite a few colours and is in quite a few bits.

Hopefully everything will go well and i'll make a build thread if we do end up getting her this weekend.

cheers

Mike

(edit: Also forgot to mention its a 2.0 litre slant 4 with a 4 speed)

Welcome bluecf, as scott said good to see more christchurch cf'ers on here. hope all goes well with the warrant and this is the only place to be in the world if you are doing up a cf. The wealth of collective knowledge avaliable here is overwhelming and all for free.

Cheers Jeff
