Did you no that you have to sit on 60 ks and hit the brakes 15 times and stop and at 1 minute apart and sit on 100 ks and hit the break twice as part of the brake test, Anyhow I got my certificate now got a get the roadworthy          pete

What state is that Pete, don't they have hoon laws there ? 


doesn't sound too difficit to get a certificult there. At 1 minute apart though I'd be pushin it to get up to speed. Thanks for the info.

Another piece of imformation he told me was your allowed to have a ajustable  proportion vavle if it is not easly accessable eg under the car or covered with somrthing so it cant accidentaly be bumped

good to know pete. my rear brakes lock up before my fronts. i recon i need different size wheel cylinders but i would have a clue how to know how to get it right.

got a quote from a bloke for an adjustable prop valve for 30 bucks.. i recon its the way to go. is that how you fixed your brakes pete?
i put a prop valve on from a hq just on the rears but still getting too much pressure compared with fronts

yea i got an adjustable proportional valve in the egine bay near the column but  if iwas to put it in again i would put it under the car with a alumimin cover and it cost me over $200

Ben, the HQ holden and P76's have the value you need, both are in the brake line, on the rail under the booster.

Before using the after market adjustable proportional valve make sure your insurance includes that modification as a lot wont because boy racers etc use these valves for burnouts
