WANTED: Melbourne ~ a Black affordable Bedford I can sleep in!
« on: September 02, 2011, 01:07:00 AM »
Hi y'all!

I'm looking to buy an affordable Black Automatic Bedford - preferably  :-* ~ obviously, I am open to Infinite Possibilities.

I've never had one before, but have always wanted one! We used to cruise around in an Indigo one with crushed blue velvet interior...  ;)
Looking for no rust, no drafts, so I can sleep securely in her womb. One that cruises happily would be awesome. I can get my own roadworthy.

I'm moving house as they're selling, and I don't have a new house yet. Thought I might go gypsy for a while...

Please email me at mardiwolf@hotmail if you have any leads.

Thanks so much!
Great to be here!

You'd be insane to buy that one. Just the rust work alone would run into the thousands to repair to a roadworthy standard.
To say nothing of the mechanical problems.

I would strongly advise waiting for a more rust free example. They are out there.

ok, well, keep the leads coming!

I did get outbid; which I guess was a good thing...

As of the end of September, I'll have no where to live, so would Love a van, asap.

I've got about 2K atm, and I keep calling Joe, in Dandenong (97925000), who has told me 4 times that he'd send me MMS of the vans he has for sale, but he never does.
I don't think I believe him anymore...
He says about 3-31/2 K, which might be doable.

Would appreciate some more leads  :)

Thanks, team xXx

Joe is OK for parts. But I wouldn't rely on him to buy a complete van.

It'll be pretty hard to buy anything in roadworthy condition for 2 grand. 4 - 5 is a more realistic amount.
