I have been looking at autoloc, but the one thing that keeps coming back is, that you need a heavy duty set-up to handle the weight of the glass and winders. For now i am still looking around  for something heavy duty, after all, the last thing you want is to set it all up have it working, then have it burn out because the gear was under powered. I'm sure there is something out there.

george.
the weight should not be a problem , the glass from a 56 Effie is heaver and the rod guys don't seem to have a problem.

late model = 2 years max

The little jap trucks, canter and others I think have semi straight glass.

The other thing you have to remember is where the motor sits for the unit, the first electric window unit I used was right length etc but when I mounted it I found the motor was hard on the outer door skin and actually under strain when window was right up, second stuck out to far the other way so third time was a motor in the middle.

After market kit is probably the best bet
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"
